  • Beautiful weather today in Jawjuh

High today has been about 78 degrees. I love this time of year..

A great day to get the Stude out, and just go for a nice cruise out some old country roads... [8D]

Pretty darn nice here in Charlotte, NC today too. I think it was mid 70s and sunny. Too bad I am in the airport heading back home to ND! Probably about 40 today I expect. There were a couple snow flakes last saturday. Also too bad I had to spend the past 2 days in a EXTREMELY NOISY (what? what?) lab and not outside.

Here's a "Jeff Rice style" pic.

You can drive in the middle of the road in Georgia. [)]

Even though it's getting a lot colder here on Long Island, I still have two more outings for my Lark this year.
On Dec. 2nd, our local Stude chapter is having our holiday brunch and if the weather is ok, we'll bring the Lark. It'll be on the south shore right on a pier looking out on the Great South Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
Later that day, we'll be at the annual tree lighting ceremony in the heart of Smithtown, NY on the grounds of the library.
                        Then, it's hibernation.

Several years ago, when Matthew's old truck belonged to me I was out driving the back roads with Matthew's 5 year old cousin Joshua on my lap. I was letting him steer and he was having a ball. Out of the blue he asked " Papa, do the police care if I do this?" I told him I thought they would be OK with it, "Why do you ask?" he said "Cause they're right behind us!" I looked back and sho nuff there was a deputy on our tailgate. I told Josh to pull over and stop. I recconized the deputy as our sherrif's son-in- law. He smiled and waved and went on about his business. Life is grand in south Ga. NT
