Are Studebaker Avanti REAR fenders the same as '86/'87 Avanti II Rear fenders?

Are the rear fenders on a '63/'64 Studebaker Avanti , the same as the rear fenders on a '86 or '87 Avanti II? I believe they are the same, but would like confirmation from the forum members. I ask, because, as I recall the front fenders are different.

SN-60 ...........thanks for the reply. I should have been more specific with my question. I'll try again. Are '63/'64 Studebaker Avanti Coupe rear fenders the same as '86/'87 Avanti II Convertible Rear fenders. If they are not, where are they different? And could you please expand on "different composition".

You could get a lot more help from the people that SELL BOTH of these Fenders, the Booth's at Nostalgic Avanti in Wixom, MI.

A couple of other points. There were no 1986 model Avantis, of any body style. The 1987s were Avantis, not Avanti IIs.
I do not believe that they were different composition until 1990.
I bought a 1987 coupe new and do not know the answer to your question.
