  • Fun Stude Day!

Even if it doesn't involve a mover. Beautiful Tennessee fall weather. Perfect for opening the garage door and busting out the wrenches. Since Dad's Daytona is off to the restorer's for brake work and transmission adjustment he came over to help me try to free the engine. I managed to get the radiator that I had wedged catywhomppass against the fan blade out before mom and dad pulled up. So at least that embarassing mistake was not evident. Thanks guys for all the tips on how to do that. Wasn't able to get it turned with the crank bolt but we did take the heads off and access what is going on. All the Marvel Mystery oil has been able to drain through the cylinders except no. 5 (top most). Dad has some new type of penetrating fluid that he used to free a couple of his Model A's and 28 Dodge's ($40/gallon). We're leaving that in no. 5 for a week and Marvel Mystery oil in the other cylinders and seeing what next Sunday will bring.

    Stay tuned . . .
