  • Starlight coupe back glass value.

In an ongoing effort to raise money to buy new bumpers for the 52 I have been selling some parts. I have a set of glass for the rear window of a Starlight coupe that I no longer need. I bought this glass in the 70s and put in storage "just in case". If I take it to St. Louis what is something like this worth?

They are worth what the buyer is willing to pay, if you figured only $50.00 each, that would be $200.00, seems about right.

Tinted would be a BIG Plus! I have seen way more '52's with Tinted Green Glass than '47 to '51's, maybe they were not available, but it could be just almost never ordered.

I'll have to look closer. I don't think they are tinted, but I also don't know for sure what year they came from. I bought them because I had seen a Starlight that was a mess because some kids broke all the glass out while it was parked beside the owners garage.

      Update: Glasses are not tinted.

You could save me time if I just made a straight swap for those bumpers.
Anyway, I gave someone a deal on the glass. I could never make a living doing this.
