All it needs is a little paint, upholstery and wheels. Actually I would guess the floors might be in good condition. I would like to see it saved and restored. After all most of us don't save and restore these cars for profit, but for the fun they afford and for the history they preserve.

IF I lived close by I might offer a few dollars. The car looks very straight, but a 4 door stick that needs everything is not worth much.....unless the front fenders are solid.

It does have the fact that it IS a Regal going for it, but unfortunately the biggest part of that other than those cool Stainless Window Surrounds would be the Interior, which I am sure is gone now.

Get it to run, add some tire's and you have a rat rod.

The car has the typical Arizona desert look, where the sun beats up the paint and upholstery. The floors and body could very well be solid. It's hard to say without seeing it.

I agree with you on that. Your sentence made it sound like something that could be put on the road with a weekend or two of tinkering. Even if it is rust free, I can just picture the engine is probably stuck, all four wheels frozen, wiring so baked from the sun the insulation is falling off. And that doesn't even mention the upholstery, headliners, etc. turn to powder.

Solid body or not, that poor old thing would need much extensive work to ever make it move on it's own again.

Probably one of the most unloved Studebakers ever built! Since the sixties few folks have felt that they were worth saving, except for parts for something else. For someone like me who thinks that every car should have a chance at being saved, these cars come as close to no chance as any fifty plus year old car that I can name.

You'd think an ol' desert rig like that would be sportin' a few bullet holes...
