  • 15 x 7 wheels on C/K

Who out there is running 15 x 7 wheels on a C/K body. What tire size are you running with them and do you know the back space. I think a 4.25" back space will be the right choice. I'm just wondering anybody is having problems with this combo.

    Thanks
    Wayne

Hi Wayne Iv'e run 15x7 and 15x8 with a back space of 3.75 and 3.50. The 8x15 with 3.50 back space was very thight on the outside tire rubbed the fender 15x7 with 3.75 there's plenty of room both rims were fit with 225-75-15s. I would think alittle more back space would be just fine.

I have these 15x7 Mopar wheels by Wheel Vintiques on the rear of my 56 Golden Hawk:

Free Shipping - Wheel Vintiques 63 Series O.E. Chrysler Black Wheels with qualifying orders of $109. Shop Wheels at Summit Racing.

      They have a 4" backspace.

I have another pair for the front, but haven't put them on yet. The front wheels now are Mopar OEM 15x6.5.

Tires are 215/75/15's, front and rear.

I run 7" X 15" rims with a 4 3/4" back space. 275 X 15" fit fine. 295's will fit but you may have to use a fender lip roll to move the fender over a little if you have people in the back seat area often.

Is that rear end a stock width?
