If anyone visits the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, I believe they still have and occasionally display Raymond Loewy's prototype he designed and built on a BMW chassis for that manufacturer around 1957. The basic shape is unmistakably that of a miniature Avanti!Comment
