There is some history on K series trucks here:

A K series truck parts book should have the info you seek. I won't have access to my parts books for the next week or so. If you don't get an answer by then, send me a PM.

The K Series trucks were built from November 1937 thru 1942. They came as either conventional cab or cab forward in six different chassis sizes. If you had included the actual serial number rather than the "XX" I could have told you the month and year it was assembled. I believe most of the 1941-42 production was for export and went to western Europe. Your truck would likely be a 1938-39 or '40 but no way to tell w/o the serial number.

October 1939, probably 1940 model year.
