The first post WWII Studebaker was the 1946 Skyway Champion and it had no such number. The first '47 Commander was serial 4232501 so wrong on all counts.

Too little info, no pics, sounds kind of fishy to me.
I'd rather be driving my Studebaker!

So could it be Body #001? Which of course is NOT the first 1947 Commander Car Serial Number.

Well we do know it is a: "deluxe reagel sudan" !! Maybe the Sudanese know what a rea-gel is?

The single and double-digit body tags I have seen have been just that - a single or double digit. There's no zeros ahead of those digits.
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Is that an Optical Delusion or did that one get stamped Backwards? Aren't they supposed to be Raised not indented?
