  • Plain Brown Wrapper race car

I have a almost rust free 2dr.Challenger for sale that a friend started to built as a race car.
Body is very good with solid floors and is off the chassis but all good sheet metal.
I bought a rust free Daytona chassis for this built.
It was a 6 cylinder so needs new springs.
A variety of engines available but not included in the $2200.00 price.

No it was a rust free California 1963 2 dr. Daytona frame from Bob Peterson.

I have a twin trac Model 44 rear axle for it and traction bars from a 1964 Hawk.
First dibs on a 1963 original R2 engine complete with blower N.O.S. air cleainer original carb etc.

I might add that a '63 hardtop frame would be of a thicker gauge metal than what 2-door sedans came with. Thus, combining the stiffer frame with the stiffer sedan body would result in, naturally, a stiffer car, a good thing! The frame body combo Bob is offering here has the basis of a nice project.
