Does anybody restore transmission tags

Hi guys. I've been doing some research and would like to have the trans tag restored on my Borg Warner 3spd. I've found guys that restore body tags, but not trans tags. My tag is missing a lot of paint. Does anybody have a picture of one? 1965 stude.

You must be talking about a Flight-O-Matic, Borg Warner Automatic?

Never heard of any replacement Tags, the Serial Number is stamped into the Tag and always readable for whatever that is worth.

The '65 Model Numbers; AS98-35 (6 Cyl.) and AS12-5P (V8) are in the Chassis/Body Parts Catalog.

Hi stude rich, yes it's the flightomatic. I can read the stamped numbers, just wanted the painted area restored since I'm painting the rest of the tranny.

If you can get a photo of one from someone... Stewart Tritt can probably make a decal for you... he always has a "business card" in TW.
