  • 2015 Northwest Overdrive Welcome Nite at Bell's Museum

    The Whatcom County Chapter SDC sponsored 2015 Overdrive kicked off with a Roar Sat. May 16, 2015 5:00 PM for the Luncheon and Open House at the Bell's Studebaker Museum and Diner in Bellingham, WA.

    We had a Great turnout of Studes. at the Museum after a get together and Registration at the Hampton Inn Bellingham and tire kicking in the Parking Lot.

    Chuck Douglas of the B.C. Southern Interior Chapter Presenting the 2015 SDC/Bell's Museum Hall of Fame winner Wall Plaque Posthumously to our Wonderful past Co-Author of Turning Wheels, Art Unger for his outstanding Service to our Club.

    A really Special '57 Golden Hawk with LED Lights everywhere including the FINS! It lights up the Ground to the sides of the Car between the Front Wheel Well and the Door when the Turn Signals Light. Also next to the Car below the Doors when opened.
    It has a Stock Supercharged 289 with a GM THM 700R4 Overdrive Automatic Trans. and Vintage Air.

          Looks like a good time was had by all, sure glad to see my good friend Lionel up and about . If people have not seen the Bells place it should be on your to do list, I have been there once and plan on going back again in the future.. Thanks Jim and keep up the nice work.
