  • I'm now official!

I joined the SDC back in November without even owning a Studebaker. As of yesterday afternoon at around 5:00 o'clock that all changed as I took delivery of my 62 GT Hawk and officially became a Studebaker driver.

That's a nice looking car. I've owned my 62 Hawk for 40 years. Out of the three years of the GT Hawks I think the 62 looks the best. Bud

Nice one. It's always more fun to be in the club when you have a vehicle to participate with.

Nice car! The GT's are sweet rides. I'm sure you'll get a lot of enjoyment from driving that one. Post some interior shots when you can.

The car was formerly owned by Fred Levitt, an SDC member, and I purchased it from a dealer in BC. I don't know why Fred sold the car but he put a boat load of money into it between 2010 and 2012.

Congrats on the safe journey. I've had my '63 GT for over 40 years and still love it to death. Enjoy!

Beautiful car! Glad you received it in good shape! Reverse lamps work!
Drove a 62 GT as everyday driver in the 1980s, never let me down. Only glitch was a windshield leak.
And it was on the passenger side, always had a towel on hand!
