  • Electrical: Gas guage/sender: 6V to 12V ??

I'm going to connect a NOS tank unit to the dash guage in my 1953 truck, both 6 Volts.. I need to step down the voltage. Its also still positive (+) ground. What should I use to protect the gauges ? Radio Shack ??

I used a runtz voltage reducer...from an advertiser and contributor to Turning Wheels...just having a brain-fart as to his name and company...Randy was his first name though...hopefully someone can remember better than me. worked like a charm cheers, junior

For one guage, a $4.75 diode works.
