1937 Studebaker Engine --Is This An Optical Illusion?

I saw this today on our local craigslist. It's not a 1937 as listed, but what is it? The left bank looks like a flathead, but the right bank has an overhead valve head setting on it. The head must be setting backwards on it. Does anyone know what engine this is? Thanks, Tom

I suspect a "typo" for probably a 57 V8 engine. Bad pics anyway.

It's a 232 from a '51 to '54 Commander V8, there are no flat head Heads there, just the OHV Head resting on the Lifter area, there is a Detroit Gear Studebaker Automatic behind it with the Converter Housing for the DG Automatic.

Basically just a mixed up pile of junk parts, they are not oriented to each other as they would be when installed.

In this Pic I think you are looking at a Block standing on it's front with what could be the right head, as it would fit that head surface there. All kinds of other junk is around the Parts. At $50.00 a Ton currently that's what, about $25 to $35.00 worth?
