That's the first time I have seen a production number: 4,238 of them total.
You would think that, with over 4,000 of them out there and the wide use they saw with The Post Office, that one of them would be displayed -or even mentioned- in the United States Postal Museum in Washington DC. But I've been there and specifically looked for anything about the ZIP van. Nothing, zero, NADA. BPWe've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

Oops! I actually did a search for the term "Zip Van" on the Forum search engine, thinking that someone else probably saw it before me, but it didn't turn up any recent threads. Oh well, zip vans deserve the extra attention.John
