  • A little Studebaker history from rural north central Arizona

Found the attached article, posted in this morning's Prescott Daily Courier, highlighting the use of Studebaker's Big 6 Touring car, over other brands that were available, not only by local law enforcement in Prescott (pronounced: "Press-kit"), Yavapai County, Arizona, but also in 11 of the 12 other counties in Arizona, at the time. Enjoy the read!

Some interesting history there that involved Studebaker's claiming the market: http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...light=prescott

Interesting read Glen as we reside in Mohave County for the winter. Thanks for sharing.
PS: Did you note the "large V-6" reference?

Thanks, Glen. Very, very interesting and shows why the Grand Canyon SDC in Phoenix used "The Sheriff" as its logo when hosting the 2010 international meet.

The "Thunder Pumper"! That sounds like a great name for a bad ass Studebaker race car!
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.
