At York I just picked up this thirteen page advisement to dealers on how to present the new '33 Rockne to the public in the first ten days of offering.

I like Rule #1, Clean Up Your Showroom with the line, "Put your salesman to work" washing the windows and scrubbing the floor.

Most interesting is #3 stating how all literature was handled from the Detroit facility, and not South Bend.

Brad - did Larry Tholen know of these?

Now if Richard Quinn says he has never seen them, you may have the only copies existing!

Here's some more Rockne print I've been meaning to post. These are a few scans of the 8 color page (on 4 sheets) insert in December 1931 Motor Magazine. Not the Brit 'Motor', but the US Auto Trade magazine published by the Motor Manual people.

"You need BALLYHOO to make this a great introduction" nothing changes, just the same as the Apple Watch now.....of course now its called "buzz".

You wouldn't like it if you were a salesman working on commission.
