Other: Need hood latch spear

Does anyone out there have a hood latch "spear" that I could buy. Mine jammed on the Hawk and I had to "disassemble" it to get the hood open. Let me know if you have one.

Can you attach a picture of what you refer to as a "spear"? Or reference a part number if you have your chassis catalog?

Don, I think what you need is called a "dovetail", part #1320899 and Studebaker International has them.
