Can anyone recommend a good radio repair person?

Or has anyone taken a shot at it themselves and had any luck by cleaning things up and checking for loose connections?

Bud an SDC Member here on the Forum has been overhauling these for years and comes highly recommended, by me and others.

Here is a Link to his profile, send him a PM.

I'll second that on Bud, he's an electrical wizard.

I used RadioRoy for our 65 Wagonaire radio.
Roy converted it to FM and AM plus installed plugs for IPhone and CD player! Looks like stock Studebaker AM radio in the dash.
          Highly recommend!

I don't repair radios with printed circuit boards in them. I can convert them to AM/FM, but do not fuss with the original technology on this vintage of radio.

Thanks for the kind words, though.
