  • Best Avanti photo?

I think this is the best photo of an Avanti I've seen. http://www.carstyling.ru/en/car/1963.../images/33901/ For fun I wondered if anyone out there agrees. There are other good ones on this site, but this beats them all. I might just start a photo war, but that's OK.

Nice but would not qualify as a "photo." It is artwork.

Would look a teensy bit better with whitewall tires.... not wide ones, mind you. Just a simple white stripe. But, yes - it looks great.

            Personally, redlines with Halibrands!

            All the same, beautiful composition!

Wonder if that is Ian Fleming's Avanti? Its black, has a European numberplate in front. Thought I had a pic of Ian with his Avanti to see if the plate is the same.

Yep, I would go with the Halibrands on a black car.

It looks two-tone...black over gray. Nice effect.

I'm enjoying this disagreement! I'm going to stand on the it's-a-photograph side. After opening the full-size photo in it's own window, the amount of clear detail would've been pretty amazing to have replicated in a painting, and it would've taken someone possessed of almost Rembrandt-like skill to capture the full gradient of the light. The wrinkles in the backdrop cloth under the front bumper imply it being a photo, as well - an unnecessary detail to have painted. The backdrop is a cloth that has been painted on, however.

                          I think it's a photogragh of a painting.
