Wheel Well Chrome

Could anybody tell me how to properly remove the chrome trim around the wheel well of the front fender of a 56 Golden Hawk.

Each molding has 5 fasteners that poke through the fender with a stud and a nut. That's assuming they haven't been replaced with something else.

Whatever you do, don't pry them off.

When you replace it, SI has a fastening kit with all stainless steel hardware. Good investment.
