Try Chris Skinner or Ian Mackellar both in Australia and both in the club roster.

Ray is also a parts dealer here in Australia. I assume he has no leads here and is scouting a wider market.

There should be another option for a metric GT speedo that may still be available... At one time it was common for instrument companies and others to refinish US gauges to metric and vice-versa. Here is a picture of an old refinished GT Hawk speedo in my 66 Excalibur, which spent nearly all of its life in Switzerland. Disregard the little purple stick-on... some sort of Euro thing I've been told, and since it had a body-off restoration over there I left it and some other such European odds-&-ends.

Do no metric faceplates exist similar to the MPH ones for Avantis?

I may go that way, BUT would prefer a genuine one .. They are listed in the parts book as a complete item

so hoping once may turn up. Thanks to all for all your suggestions... Ray Crunkhorn South AUSTRALIA.. Studebakers Since 1966
