A few years back I found a 57 or 58 Packard Wagon in northern California slightly west of I-5 somewhere near Red Bluff or Corning. If anyone is interested I will have to do some memory searching to determine exactly where but I think with some researching I can pin point it again.

I have recalled the location... up 6th Street from Granzella's Italian Restaurant in Williams CA. It was parked well off the road under a weathered carport on the east side of 6th a few blocks north of the restaurant.

While on the subject of '57 Packard, Has anyone got a lower front grille for sale in undamaged condition? I'm putting my wagon back together and there is some minor damage to the lower grille making it unworthy of re-polishing.
Please PM me if anyone has one for sale.
Thanks,
Bill

Yes, I've seen it setting under a carport/lean to. Looks like it hadn't moved in years. Was there a few months ago.Originally posted by Buzzard View PostI have recalled the location... up 6th Street from Granzella's Italian Restaurant in Williams CA. 'Spose you're talking about this one...
Turner's is a traditional wrecking yard. Jerry Turner is getting up there in years. Don't wait forever. He gets a wild hair every once in a while and crushes a bunch of cars. He has other Studes currently listed as well. Anne may know particulars about certain cars in the yard.KURTRUK

Not many 58 Studebaker wagons out there, this one looks petty complete. Can't tell for sure but, almost looks as if the windshield is unbroken!
Hope it is rescued before it becomes a dozen Kias.sigpic1957 Packard Clipper Country Sedan

I also recall finding a 57 Studebaker wagon (filled with sagebrush) sitting in Denio, Nevada right below the Oregon border. It looked pretty complete. I might be able to dig up some pics if anyone is interested.
