  • Paul Matter Studebaker Agency, Honesdale, PA

I've had this newspaper clipping in my files for a couple decades and just came across it as I was doing some cleaning. Sent to me by a friend, clipped from the Honesdale newspaper April 1, 1993.

I believe "Flying A Service" was most often associated with Studebaker agencies. I recall, and ordered parts from, Herm Slaybaugh's Flying A Service in Royersford, PA.

Flying A was the sign used for Tidewater gas stations. I remember those as a kid in New Jersey.

If you look close, a gas pump appears to be in the foreground near the corner of the dealer's building.
