      At the 2010 national meet in Glendale, Frank sold me a new tank just like that for $75..

        Just so folks don't get the wrong idea, while we were selling NOS gas tanks there it was not this Frank selling them at those prices.

            You do know that this is OP Robert Kapteyn's own tank right? And he knows the rarity and Value of these NOS ones at this point in time.

              I bought one from Frank , it was less than this one but that's back when there were still some around( maybe 4 years ago ) . Prices go up not down usually

                I have a nice one that is surplus. Tank purchased new from N&A in 1985; car scrapped in 1989 and tank placed in dry storage. Some surface rust on the outside, nice and shiny on the inside. $200 delivered to Reedsville.

                  That's about what Studebaker International would price one for, if there were one available. If you need one you need one. Can't drive Miss Daisey around in a car with a smelly leaky fuel tank.

                    There must be more than one style of Lark gas tank. That tank on E-bay has the filler spout on the right side, I have a 63 lark tank with the filler in the center. That E-bay tank appears to have the option, it is designed for both applications.

                        Yes, the 59-61 tank filler tube comes out on the right side of the panel below the trunk lid. In 62 it moved to the center.
