  • Dealer in Hollidaysburg, PA sold a Super Lark

Is anybody on the forum from around Hollidaysburg, PA? I have been through there once, and I know it's not a big town. Reason I ask, is I've recently been reminded of an interesting Super Lark that was delivered to the dealer there. It was a Super Red Lark Custom two-door sedan with the complete High-Performance Package, white Skytop, and Powershift transmission. Seems like most Super Larks were hardtops; this would have been a real sweetie as the sedan body would make it a bit more rigid, and I always liked the '63 Custom interior and side trim and it seems like you see less of those than any other Lark model in '63. Add the Skytop, and it would be a wonderful find.

Anybody remember the dealership, or better yet, this particular car?

Forgot to mention, it was an R2.

When I did production order research on '63 Avanti-Powered Skytops at the old Newman and Altman in 1991, this was (to me) the most interesting example of the 14 total Avanti-Powered Skytops built. I was looking at my old research results and that's what brought this up to me again.
