  • Desperately Seeking '52 Upper Grille Bar

My '52 Land Cruiser just got run into at a car show.
I'm looking for the "upper grille bar"....the piece just below the hood that has the "V" shaped center...They're made of pot metal and when they're hit hard enough they break and they can't be straightened or repaired...
Do you have one that's straight, intact and re-chrome-able (pits okay)?? I'll pay a VERY fair price + shipping & handling.
    Thanks! Peter Braun (707) 987-0254 X22

Mine that I'm not using is also broken but I know of a guy that had one.
I think it is rather rough but not broken.
    Will pm phone number.

    Dean.

Peter, That was an unfortunate end to an otherwise excellent Drive your Studebaker Day. We'll keep our eyes peeled and an ear to the ground to find one for you.

I'm interested to see what options you come up with. Finding anything nos for a 52 is rare.
I don't know how badly damaged yours is but it isn't impossible to fix some damage.
Check with tx rebel, Barry Hackney he may be able to help.

            Dean.
