Does anyone know the story of this Studebaker Avanti R 5285 that had its rear window removed and replaced by some form of "convertible top" to cover the opening?
Its been on ebay at least twice in the last two years. Bob Johnstones studebaker pages show views of the car with the "top" in place. Its also hand brush painted black.
As this is definitely out of the ordinary I'm just curious if anyone knows the story. Oh additionally it has 64 control levers mounted in the dash. Again just a bit unusual. Would appreciate any info. Thanks
