  • Help with engine number please

    Hi

I've come across a Stude V8 engine, engine number 94vk322. It's fitted with breather type rocker covers and a marine kit. Not ceased. Does any one have a clue what it might be? or what it's worth.

    cheers Phil.

Thanks Chris, you must have some good reference material, or a really good memory.

Most of these questions can be answered by consulting the V8 engine number table on the main SDC web site. Note particularly the last sentence of the section on 1964 V8 engine numbering on the bottom of the table.

The "94" in front of the Engine Serial Number must be the Export KD clue?

It certainly means it's an export engine. And I believe 94 would mean it was the 94th export engine built on that date.
