Studebaker watch question.

I just ran across a Studebaker gold octagon 21-jewel watch, in working order, looks pretty nice but shows wear, for $275 CDN. Should I snag it?

Check ebay. You can see a lot of "South Bend" Studebaker watches. Prices from $50 up. Depending n condition. Most all Studebaker watches are really South Bend watches with a Studebaker face plate.

Weren't the South Bend watch company and the Studebaker watch company essentially one and the same?
