  • Know anyone that owns this 64 Commander?

A young engineer who knew I liked old cars gave this to me today in a sealed envelope.

As he handed it to me, he said, "My uncle said you would know what this was."

So, If any one owns this Commander, I have your window sticker..

Well it would be a Canadian car, It dont say whether it's a V-8 or 6 but i assume it is a V-8 with that TT 3;07 rear end.

It's a V-8. Notice the VF 4 on the window sticker.

Doesn't the serial number indicate that it's Canadian My 64 form SB doesn't have a "C" prefix

The C511416 Serial Number indicates it is a 1965 model year car, since 1965 model year V8 Serial Numbers begin with C510001.

Another indicator is the Model 44 rear axle. If it was a 1964 model with a 259, it would have a Model 27 rear axle. But 1965 and 1966 V8s got Model 44 axles, independent of Twin Traction, which was a separate option regardless of axle type. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.
