  • Why is this VIN# have a K in it

Hi does anyone know why this VIN has a K in it? This is a GT Hawk for sale in California. I would like to find out more about it if I could. Thanks for your help 63VK61667

Because they are using body plate information for a VIN and not the Serial Number.

It is simply just the 1667th '63 GT Body welded up on the Body line, means very little. It's a '63V-K6 Hawk Body.

Good luck with the Auction, I would Hope that someone was smart enough to Register it by it's Correct Driver's Door Post Serial number 63VXXXXX.

OH, that must be this one:

            It IS very nice looking.
