    Were dual exhausts an option on the 57 Commander 259 4 door sedans?

    Yes. My '57 Parkview was ordered that way, and still has 'em.
    My '57 Commander 2 door is now equipped that way as well- but with BIGGER pipes.

    They usually (but not always) got a 4 barrel carb too.

          Yes, dual exhaust was an option on 1957 Commander 259 sedans. This option also included exhaust extensions.

              Straight out the back like a Hawk, Tim, in 1957.

              But in 1958, they curled up and exited out from under the far corners of the rear bumpers, unlike Hawks. BP
