  • Taking order for 2 door wagon fixed side glass rubber setting channel

We've had numerous request for the rubber channel that sets the fixed side (rear quarter) window on 1954-59 2 door station wagons. Happy to announce that we will be taking delivery of a high quality reproduction of this in 2 weeks. Now looking in to reproduction of the same for later wagons.

Russ, can you get Avanti 1/4 window weather seals made? They have been NLA for a few years now.

Thanks for your efforts to reproduce these rare items.
Studebaker wagons are getting more and more appreciated and restored.
Years ago I helped a friend with the rubber for the rear window on a 1956 wagon and he found that
some reproduced rear window rubber from Fennessy would fit.
If anyone is interested I will try to dig this information up.
What are you selling for this rear tailgate glass channel?

I talked to Ed at SI and he is considering remaking these.
The previous repops were not as the originals but worked OK.
I have one original if someone else would be interested in reproducing these.
I will not sell this original but loan it to an potential person that want to reproduce these.

The 1959 wagons were like the 1956-59 2 dr wagons.
The 1960 had a much different design.

I have an upper tailgate out of a 1957 wagon for sale and a 1956 wagon that has been partly taken apart for sale.
These are in Joliet Illinois at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Interstate 55.

                    Hello, GTFan,
I've been wondering where to acquire just such an item. Just to clarify, are you saying there will be multiples of these available? Both sides? If so, what do you anticipate they'll be worth? I believe I mistakenly bought an NOS pair of the same item, but specific to '60-'61 wagons. Would you be interested in a trade? Thanks,

                    JSC

They will be sold in 8 ft lengths, a bit of trimming will be needed where the overlap of the slider channel is. Price? Just under $50 per side. I'd like to talk to you about the 60-61 rubber.

The rubber has an entirely different profile to match the difference in the body channel.
