  • Splatter Trunk Paint?

    Hi everyone,
I just got my mom's 1957 Silver Hawk from my parent's estate. What is standard color for trunk area? I noticed some gray/white splatter paint on the floor while other side are white. It is true? Thanks for any help in advance..

It was common in the day, for used car lots to use that spatter paint in the trunks and some GM cars came that way, the Stude. did not!
A former owner also could have added that.

The sides (inner fender panels) would be a grienge (Gray/Tan) flat finish, floor may be body color.

If at least one of colors on the car is not White, there should be NO White!
