  • Help identify air / gravel deflector

Can you help me identify this part? I've checked manuals for the cars I have, '47 - '50 and '59 - '64. I just want to know what it is used on. It is p/n 274639.

Thanks for your time to check.

The only books I have get close to that number, but no match. The part looks like it would go between the body and the rear bumper, but that's a guess.

That appears to be a 1947-'52 Body Part Number, but my older Body Parts Catalog is not here at the moment, sorry.
I agree, it looks like the upper Stone Pan for the rear, between the Body and Bumper.

      It appears to be: 274639

It is for the 1941 President and Commander. Fits between the body and rear bumper.

Chased that one for a while! Fits 1941 Commander and President only.

As has been said before, the forum is really great! Thanks for the time everyone spent on this. I'll offer it for sale at the PSW zone meet in a couple weeks. Possibly someone needs it.

            Again, thanks,
