    Newport was very cool. The heat was however very hot!! New records broken and many people fell victim to the heat.[]

        No photos yet. Many Studes in attendance. Lots of 'em! Some were just show cars. Quite a few racers. 22.63 seconds was the quickest I believe. Not bad considering the fastest motorcycle was 26 seconds.

            There are a few pics here. Some have captions. One shows Bob Palma looking in pretty good condition although he could lose a few pounds.

            Ignore the last 1939 interior as they were requested by someone redoing one.

            Not many pics from me as I was preoccupied and enduring the heat.








            If at first you don't succeed you will get a lot of advice.
