My wife & I met up with an old high school buddy, Brian Kovac, last night. Brian's dad owned the local Studebaker dealership in town back in the day and brought me some of the artifacts from there. The "goodie bag" included a pair of dealer stickers, a Lark yardstick, a key fob & trash bag with dealer name, office stationary, paper floor mats, playing cards & a "lubrication kit." The last time I had seen him was at school in march, 1964, fifty years ago! The only thing that didn't go according to plan was driving my 62 Champ there. It sits patently in the driveway now waiting for my attention for what appears to be a fuel delivery problem. But the conversation & association was priceless indeed! Thanks again Brian.
