  • Does anyone remember this '58 Packard?

Quite awhile ago we discussed this '58 Packard~

That's how it looked at the 2010 SE Zone Meet-- thanks to Brad (a.k.a. BezHawk) for the photo

But I'll be darned if I can find any threads other then the one where Brad posted the picture above.

I ask because I see it is advertised in TW this month, and have a few questions~
    • Does anyone else remember a thread where we talked about it?
    • For those who have seen it- did anything (good or bad) jump out at you?

Someone I know (not on this Forum) has asked me to ask about the car.
    Thank you for your time.

I saw it at the meet where Brad took the photos,In fact I was parked right in front of it,but I didn't examine it very well. Best I recall, it appeared to be pretty solid. Of course the chrome was painted, and the flame job didn't seem to fit the car.It looked like a good car but I would want more chrome and less flames.

It is hard to tell from the front/side view Dave, but it looks to me like a '58 Studebaker Provincial with a '58 Packard Sedan or Wagon front clip.

It was someone that had recently moved to the Atlanta area. I believe it was for sale a few years later. Matt Burnett Knew of it I think.

Thanks for the input guys. I seem to recall seeing more pictures in a thread here somewhere- but I'll be darned if I can find it now!!! Maybe we discussed it when was when it was for sale (eBay, CL?) the last time? I'll keep looking.
