I see you have a Pertronix #1584, that is for an Avanti Dual Point Prestolite Distributor, was your '64 Daytona Avanti Powered?

You did not purchase it from a Studebaker Vendor, they are the only ones that know what the Pertronixs Units fit, not EVEN Pertronixs knows!
Jegs has every single year from 1950 to '66 Chevy Engines, Studebaker Engines, Trucks, 6 Cyl. and 8, Delco, Autolite and Pertronix Distributors all listed as taking this unit, 34 Models, and it only fits ONE!
And worst of all, not yours.
