  • 1963 Lark Rubber Flap at Rear of Front Fender

    Could someone post a picture of an original rubber flap installation at the rear of the front fender under the hood?
    THANKS

    OK, so everyone is clear I believe this is not the accessory Mud Flap, but the Inner Fender Splash Shield on the inner fender, not the Fender. These are stapled in.

    You would need a good under hood shot with the engine out. Which side do you need, they are different?

      Paul is clearly asking for rear of fender "under hood". I'm thinking they're stapled to the engine side of the inner fender,maybe not consistent from one car to another - just going by memory

        The best I can do for now is this '65~

        I know it's not the same year, but I hope it helps at least a little bit...

        I think Dad has better pics of the same car on his computer... {hint hint}

          This picture shows what I need. I do not understand why Studebaker did not install the flap inside on the rear 2 holes as they did on the front 2 holes. If they would have installed the complete flap on the inside, they could have installed all 4 retainers from the inside, and made a much neater appearance.
          THANKS
