  • What does this stainless fit?

When I got the trunk of Lenard's old 52 open I found a piece of stainless steel trim. It doesn't look like a Studebaker part, so what is it? Some of you must have been acquainted with a car that had this on it.

Whoops! I guess it would help if I posted the picture.

Is it just Me?,or would this be for a 4 door 56 Ford - looks shorter than the pic of the 2 door below "maybe it's just the way the pic looks"

Well, I guess there's someone that can use it. I knew it looked familiar, but I couldn't place it.

1956 Crown Victoria without plexiglas roof, with '56 Mercury Meteor grille and what appears to be '56 Clipper/Executive tail lamps.

PERHAPS the picture is deceiving, but to me, it sure looks like a piece from a four door 1956 Ford and not from a two door. Measurements would tell for sure.

Darn! I think you are right. The fluted part looks shorter on my piece than the one on the two door.
