Apologies if this has been discussed before. Came across this photo on the web. I assume its not a factory produced model.

Obviously Australian, where the ute originated. Not built in South Bend that way, but possibly modified to customer order by a dealer in Oz. No expert on Australian plates, but looks like Victoria state to me.

Looks like he used a windshield for the back window also!

I think the backlight is a stock '63 Rear Glass. Not too bad of a job really.

There is a 63 Cruiser Ute listed in the Aussie members directory, from Victoria as Skip surmised. With the closure of Aussie GM and Ford production, the Ute will soon be a thing of the past.

Wonder if another auto company will step in and fill the void?

It looks like the whole windshield frame and cowl was used to meld into the box.

Actually the rear roof section was used with the rear Glass frame.

It looks like all they did is just take the 1/4 Window and most of the "C" Pillar out of the center.

Very interesting. Looks like Daytona trim to make it a bit fancier. Looks like a lot of work to make such a conversion, but I like the results.

No more Utes?!!?? I always liked to see these unique vehicles. Too bad if they do indeed disappear from production.
