In another thread someone inquired whether the infamous and elusive SDC Forum button (badge) would be available. Well, it will be!

Background: back in 2007 when I was the webmaster/forum admin I worked with Bill Glass to create a forum tee shirt. I figured a pin back button might be fun so I had a bunch made up at my own expense and sent a few bags to Bill to include one with each tee purchase. There must have been some left over when Mr. Reynolds acquired the remaining SDC store inventory. If he has them at York that's cool.

Anyway, as I still have some of the buttons left I am sending at least a couple dozen (more if I have them) to Jim Turner (52 Ragtop) who has graciously agreed to hand them out to all you folks who are attending York. They'll be free for the asking. For those not familiar with them you use a Sharpie marker and write in your Forum "handle" so fellow forum folks will know who you are.

So, be sure to stop and get one at the Turner Brake booth.

OUTSTANDING, BOB ! Thank you! :!!:

For those of you meeting Jim Turner for the first time, he looks a lot like the guy on the left.

The last time I was at SI's South Bend location they had a few strays hanging up for sale but I am pretty sure no new runs have been made. As the Museum now manages the SDC Store perhaps they would be interested in offering updated ones with the "modern" logo IF the demand is high enough. I have the artwork and could easily update it. I will check that out if there is a desire for forum tees.

Bob S. and/or Jim T. - I would like one of the Forum buttons. I have never gotten one of the buttons, even though I am quite active here on the Forum. The problem is that it does not look like I will be attending York. I would appreciate it if one of you could save a button for me for Dover. I do plan on being there and have reservations there.

I still have both the button and shirt, though it would take me digging through at least half a dozen boxes to find the shirt.

One way or another I'll make sure some forum buttons will be available at the Dover IM.

I have both, but have worn the shirt so much I need a new one. I would be interested in buying a new shirt, if and when available.

I'd love a button. I won't be at York, but I'll be at Jeff Rice's planned new Southeast swap meet in the Spring. Anyway to get one?
