Looking good. Some exhaust tips/deflectors would look even better. These were relatively inexpensive & easy to install:

yep, don't really like 'em stock. the cruiser's got a 30,000 mile 289 from a 62 hawk - the daytona has the original 259, but that'll change.

thanks, it has dual 12" electric fans w/ an adjustable controller on it also. it let me down during the hot weather during the international meet in SB (vapor locking), and i said "never again"...

Yeah I remember that. I was sitting in the Culvers looking out the window at an individual who, just a few minutes before, picked up his lunch, and was now parked just a short distance from the restaurant, with its hood up. I do believe I said, "I know that situation quite well as I've been in it myself quite a few times. We better go help him, with whatever caused the ailment, as that's not a good position to be in!". Thankfully, it's good that you now have that problem permanently resolved!

                          More pics of the Daytona

Tthis is what it looks like this year. increased rear ride height 1" - got another 3/4" by installing 225/70R15 rears dropped the front with 205/70R15's 7" Mopar cop wheels and caps-Chevy Suburban trim rings.
My 2013 New Year's resolution was to drive this car all 12 months of the year. Finished it out as seen in the second pic on Saturday!

it is a three row champion - bought it off ebay as a kit w/the fans for $290 - the controller is a hayden unit i got from summit. Nelson Bove's nephew Dan showed me this set up in his 64 daytona when we were in SB in 2012. the rad. is for a jeep cj7 which has had a small block chevy conversion. lower hose is different, but otherwise very close.
