Very Nice Starliner, but I also like the "Antique" looking Houses that are probably pretty New. :!:
The Stude. Commander is almost Old enough to fit right in! :)

Congrats! What a beautiful starliner! Hopefully we will see it on the Saskatchewan roads once the snow is gone. What part of the province are you from? Evan in Prince Albert.

Evan, not far from you. Are there many Studebaker enthusiasts in the area? I'm new to the Studebaker world.

Thanks for all the comments, everyone. A '53 or '54 Starliner has been on my short list of cars that I wanted for many years. I admired this model ever since seeing the first one back before I was old enough to drive. So I'm pretty excited about this.

I did find a baby blue '54 Starliner Commander in Montana last summer, but the owner would not sell it. That's likely a good thing as the car had spent several decades parked in a field without being started. The body and the chrome/stainless and many other parts needed total restoration. Sometimes it pays to wait.

Great choice!....Mechanically refined over the '53 version. Good luck with Your 'new' Studebaker!

There is a chapter of sdc in the province, we are spread out but do get together every couple of months. Here in the PA area there are a few stude guys as well. As far as I know, yours is one of Four 53-54 star liners in the province that are restored. Two are commanders, one is a 53 champion. Hopefully yours will be out and about in the spring. Pm me or email me and we can chat offline you're more comfortable. Evan
