1953 Studebaker owned and restyled by Erik Rødser of Oslo, Norway. When Erik restyled his car, he fit it with with Silver-hawk fins and Merceds headlights. A bigger and more powerful 331 Chrysler Hemi-engine was installed as well, and Erik had to cut a hole in the hood and install a scoop in order to make it fit. An air vent louvers from a wardrobe locker was installed inside the scoop opening. Erik made his own intake-manifold for the engine that he fit with two four-port carburetors. The transmission and rear end were also swapped with the engine. Erik also owned an old Nordic special racer called the No-Be Special. After a while, he sold the No-Be Special and the Chrysler Hemi to Fred Larsen and Tore Magnusson. Fred and Tore installed the engine in the No-Be Special, and turned it into a Funny Car named "Hot Lemon".[1]

Looks like an upside down English Ford Zephyr grille and Mercedes Benz headlamps. Some people just have no taste.

What did I say about the fate of many C and K cars in the other thread?

To me, this thing is butt ugly.

Changing the body lines on a 53 coupe is, at best, a futile attempt to improve the looks. However, this may be the ugliest 53 I have ever seen. Just my opinion, and that's not worth too much. LOL
