I'd eventually like to install a T-5 in my '50 Champion, and since that will mean losing the column shift, I'd like to keep the interior looking as factory as possible by selecting a shift lever, knob, and boot that resemble the pieces from a contemporary Studebaker truck. Unfortunately, images like the above are the closest I've found to pictures of these components.

Can anyone provide some closeups of the boot, lever, and particularly the knob from this era Stude truck? Better yet, anyone have a knob they'd like to part with?

    Thanks!

Knobs are available. They also seem to be identical to the control knobs on my Hyster forklift. The boot is available from SI. Steve

The thing is: Will the Studebaker shift knob have the same thread size as the knob that fits the T-5?

I wasn't planning to use any factory T5 shift lever - probably an orphaned T90 shift lever adapted to the T5 shifter.
