We have a 51 Commander that I put 60 Hawk brakes on. We drive the car a lot . I need new linings and I was wondering if anybody has relined the shoes with a more agressive lining . I know on disk brakes you can get different pad material but I did not Know about drum brakes.

The most options (or ANY options) would be available ONLY if you go directly to a Brake Relining Shop.StudeRich

Some brake shops can provide brake lining options but most will only have the harder material provided by the manufacturers now. If you don't have power brakes its sometimes hard to tell the difference between the whoa and the go.Comment
